Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 3, 2026

This policy explains what information Lightbeforethetunnel (lightbeforethetunnel.com) collects, why, and what choices you have. We try to collect as little as we can.

Information you give us

When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, the subject you pick and your message. We use it only to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. When you join our newsletter, the sign-up form is provided by Sphere CRM (link.sphere-crm.com), which receives the details you enter and stores them on our behalf so we can send you emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our server keeps standard logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of the request. We use these logs for security and to fix problems.

Cookies and analytics

We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how people find us. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar technology to collect information such as pages viewed, time on page and approximate location. We don’t use it to identify you personally. You can learn more about how Google handles this data in Google’s own privacy policy, and you can block analytics with browser settings or Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising cookies

Ads on this site are delivered through Revive Adserver (servedby.revive-adserver.net). The ad server may set cookies to control how often an ad is shown, to count impressions and clicks, and to prevent fraud. Advertisers whose creatives appear here may also use their own technology. You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time; the site will still work.

Feeds and third-party links

Some pages show headlines from other publishers, fetched by our own server. Clicking a headline takes you to that publisher’s site, where their privacy policy applies. The same goes for any external link, share button or the Google News link.

How long we keep information

We keep contact messages for as long as needed to respond and for reasonable record-keeping, then delete them. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to receive a copy of your data. If you’re in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR and UK GDPR give you these rights, and you can complain to your local data protection authority. If you’re a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not sell personal information.

Children

This site is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from them.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. Questions or requests about your data can be sent through our contact page.
